Description:

The Individual supports the Air Domain Technical Lead in planning and performing high-level engineering analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex solutions that require a thorough knowledge of higher mathematics, scientific, and technical skills to provide systems engineering (SE) support to the program management decision making process.

The Individual shall support a systems engineering approach to translate required capabilities and needs into design–to requirements, mature the existing products and processes, and through product realization provide an integrated and validated system that meets the stakeholder’s needs. The Individual will be expected to prepare drafts of white papers or position papers.

Requirements:

A minimum ten years’ experience in developing systems engineering strategies to address obsolescence with revised system architectures for airborne sensor management, communications and spectrum management, instrumentation and evolving navigation requirements is required; experience with Coast Guard-unique avionics and mission system architectures as installed or being developed for Coast Guard aircraft is desired.
