Mario has spoken to various organizations on a wide range of topics. A leading expert in maritime and aquatic risk and safety, he uses his experiences at sea, and a lifetime of research on these topics to craft life-saving lessons for mariners and rescuers alike.  His other focus – leadership and training of small teams – came from watching the amazing people he met in the Coast Guard. No other organization relies so heavily on the ability of small groups of ordinary people who are motivated to do incredible things to accomplish a mission.
